I have just uploaded a fall makeup look on my Youtube Channel. I have been wearing this look a lot recently using the MAC Burgundy x9 palette. It has some really pretty shades perfect for this time of year. It also matches my purple Primark scarf haha. I have been really enjoying filming makeup videos. I might not be the best beauty Youtuber in the world but I am so proud of myself, as soon as I hit the publish button I just feel like I have accomplished so much.

Hope you enjoy this tutorial, leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Much love,

1. Jo Malone Cologne in Peony & Blush Suede
I think it's important to change up your perfume as the seasons change, this Jo Malone perfume is amazing for this time of year. I recently got this as a birthday present from my boyfriend and it smells so good. This perfume is going to be an essential for me this autumn-winter, I like it because it is slightly heavier compared to a perfume that I would go for in the summer.

2. Zoella Hand Sanitiser
As a clean freak I love having a hand sanitiser on me and with the increased risk of catching a cold in the colder months it's important to keep your hands germ free to prevent catching anything. I am currently just getting over a really bad cold, I have been using this to sanitise my hands regularly to prevent catching anything but also to prevent spreading my own germs. This hand sanitiser is one of the best I have tried, it actually smells nice and doesn't leave that alcohol smell. It also looks really cute in my handbag, well done Zoe for creating the perfect little handbag essential!

3. Simple Moisturiser
Its important to keep your skin hydrated in the winter time and for me moisturising my skin is an absolute essential. I have dry skin so I moisturise every morning and night to prevent any harsh weather causing dry patches. I like this Simple moisturiser because it is simple and works great for my sensitive skin.

4. Blistex Lip Balm
Out of all the lip balms I have tried this Blistex one has to be the best. When my lips are dry and sore Vaseline just doesn't cut it for me, this lip balm is amazing. The cold weather can cause lips to become cracked so whenever I put this on it instantly soothes. When I wake up the next day they are rehydrated and back to normal. This is an essential for me because there is nothing more horrible then when you have sore lips I am constantly moisturising them.

5. MAC Lipstick in Whirl
Who else loves wearing dark lipsticks in the A/W!?? One of my faves is MAC's Whirl. It is such a lovely warm shade for this time of year. The finish is comfortable to wear and I could wear it everyday. I love putting this in my bag because it goes with so many outfits and it instantly glam's up a look.

There is nothing that I love more in the winter than a big comfy jumper and a cosy scarf. I have been wearing this perfect winter H&M Jumper constantly since I got it. It is nice and big which makes it extra cosy, the material is lovely and soft and most of all it keeps me warm. Don't you just love it when you find a really nice jumper!? It's like finding your perfect wedding dress, once you find it you can't take it off. I have bought jumpers in the past that have looked nice but the material has been itchy or it hasn't fit me properly. This ticks all the boxers. I am always on the look out for new comfy jumpers because it is one of my favourite things to wear in the Autumn/Winter. They are so easy to style, they keep you warm and are basically the best thing ever! (Can you tell I love the winter weather? Don't even get me started on hot drinks *drools*).

What I am wearing in this post is basically what I will be wearing most of the Autumn/Winter time. I paired it with some black skinny jeans, a chunky wine coloured scarf and some chic black boots. Having an array of jumpers and scarfs to chose from this autumn/winter will make getting ready in the morning a lot easier. If you have seen my last post you will see that I am a fan of the odd jumper dress as well.

What is this face??

The camel coat seems to be on trend this autumn. I have seen a lot of people wearing them both girls and boys. This coat is from New Look, it's not too thick and not to thin just the right coat for this season. There is something about a camel coat that can instantly make an outfit look dressed up and sophisticated, whether it's day to day at the office or for an evening out. I paired the coat with a Black Jumper Dress from MissGuided. It is perfect for the colder months, you can just throw it on with some tights and boots and you look dressed up with minimal effort. The gold zip on this dress adds a little something different to a plain black dress. I also put on my very faithful Black Suede Knee High Boots that I have had for a few years now. They are so easy to walk in and go with everything. The little heel adds a bit of height which I love because I am only 5ft3. Unfortunately these boots aren't sold anymore but there are very similar versions around. Im thinking of investing in some over the knee boots, I love them so much, I just don't know whether to go for flat ones of heeled ones, hmm what do you reckon?

Hope you have enjoyed this quick outfit post! Look how pretty the autumn leaves are! Everything looks so pretty in autumn.

Much love,

I am a big fan of Urban Decay so when I was looking for a new foundation in Debenhams I had a little look at their counter. I was looking for a full coverage foundation, something that would last all day (or all night). I was stuck between the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation and the Too Face Born This Way Foundation. I eventually opted for the All nighter foundation and I was not disappointed. I picked up the shade 3.5, the sales lady tried out a few different shades on me but I went for the darker of the bunch because I tend to lighten my face when I apply concealer.

The next day I wore it to work and it stayed on my face practically all day. I rarely get this from a foundation, I don't know if it's because I always (annoyingly) touch my face or whether it's because I haven't set it right. I would say the formula is medium to full coverage. For the day time I use a light layer and for the night time, or days I want to look extra glam I apply a fuller coverage. The sales assistant did advise me that the foundation oxidises when you apply it so it goes slightly darker. I would definitely agree with this, so bare this in mind when choosing your shade. It is slightly dark for my skin tone but like I said earlier I brighten my face up with a light concealer so it balances it out.

Overall this is the perfect full coverage foundation for me. I have always been a bit scared of full coverage due to my dry skin type. However this doesn't make my face look cakey and the lasting power is amazing, I would highly recommend!

1. Photography Soft Box Lights

I have wanted some of these lights for a while but I have never took the plunge and actually purchased them, this has been because natural lighting has worked fine for me. I think now that it is becoming darker natural lighting is hard to find especially when I get in from work. I think these lights will come in use because I struggle to find good lighting at the best of times, so if I have lights I won't need to worry.

2. Pugicorn Pyjama's!

How CUTE!? Pugicorn pjs! A mixture between a pug and a unicorn on comfy pjs, what else could you want?

3. Over the Knee Boots

How amazing are these boots! They would look so sexy with jeans, or a dress, I love the jumper dress look. The heel is slightly high for me it would definitely be an occasion boot. No matter how you wear these shoes you would feel like the ultimate queen.

4. Mac Strobe Cream

Again this is another item I have wanted to purchase for a while. I love the dewy skin look, I think it will be good primer to hydrate my dry skin.

5. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder

I've heard so many amazing things about these powders. I already have the Hourglass bronzer and I absolutely love it so I am sure I will love this too. From the reviews I've read and watched it makes the skin look so glowy and youthful.

6. Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy Perfume

I was in superdrug last week when I came across this perfume. It was sitting oh so pretty next to a big cardboard cut out of the beautiful Ariana, and of course I had to have a little test. Well... it is bloody gorgeous I loved the scent straight away. I think you can really tell if you like a perfume if you walk away and still get wifts of it later on in the day and think "emmm I smell so good" (this is what happened).

7. BECCA Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past year you will know Jaclyn Hill, and you will know her famous highlight 'Champagne Pop'. I have aways wanted to try this as I have seen and heard great things about it. Jaclyn is an absolute beauty and every makeup item she recommend's I can't help but want to try. I would also like to try the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face Palette.

8. Ted Baker Leather Bag

I am really in need of plain black everyday bag, but one that will last well and feels a little bit special without breaking the bank.

9. Mermaid Blanket

I have seen these blankets all over Instagram and I really really want one. My all time favourite Disney Character is The Little Mermaid and I feel like this blanket would bring back that memory and make me feel like the mermaid I have always wanted to be.

Do you have any birthday present ideas?  My birthday is the 6th of November and I seriously can't believe another year has passed! Time goes by so fast and it is so crazy. I think it is important to live everyday to the fullest and work hard at what you love doing.

Thanks for reading.

Last weekend I had a family trip away to Devon and I had such an amazing time. I hadn't been to Devon since I was a little girl, I used to go on caravan holidays every year. We stayed at a very traditional british BnB called, 'The Old Vicarage'. It was a very old fashioned house in the middle of a little old fashioned british town. When we arrived Friday afternoon we dropped off our bags and went to meet other family members in another hotel. A few white wine spritzers later and I was ready for food so we went to a pub down the road. It was right on the sea front and it as really lovely. On Saturday we woke up to a lovely breakfast, a full english with a pot of tea! We spent Saturday being tourist looking around Torquay and Babbacombe. We went down to the beach, walked around the shops and later went Go Karting. Unfortunaly, I lost, I am sore loser and I was very disappointed in myself but I got over it eventually. I also had candy floss!! I haven't had candy floss in the longest time. Myself and the family had a an amazing day I really didn't want to go home, but as always all good things have to come to an end. After a fun filled day we went back to our cute little BnB and had a quick change before heading out for another lovely meal (does anybody else's trips revolve around food!? haha). We made our way home Sunday morning after breakfast. It was definitely a long way to go for a weekend but it was worth it. Sometimes it's just nice to get away and forget about things. Life can get really stressful and it's so important to have fun and enjoy your life.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post and it has inspired you to take time out from work and travel. Even if it is just where you live as there is so many amazing places that we forget about on our own doorstep.

I have been so excited to finally do an Autumn Tag blog post! I think it's because it is really starting to feel like autumn now. I actually have on a wolly jumper and my comfy spotty pj bottoms that I come back to year after year. Bring on the dark nights and the hot chocolates!

1. What signifies the start of Autumn for you?
This would have to be the brown leaves on the floor and the dark nights. As soon as I see halloween decorations and pumpkins in the shops It makes me feel so homely inside. Maybe this is because I am a winter baby? I don't know what it is but I much prefer Autumn/Winter compared to the summer. I know a lot of people won't agree with me but there is just something about the autumn time that makes me feel very nostalgic. Also I think it is because I have lot of things to look forward too (halloween, bonfire night, birthday and CHRISTMAS).

2. What is your favourite Fall scent?
Hmmmm I think there could be multiple but I think its going to have to be the smell of a roast dinner cooking on a sunday after. I know this is probably a bit strange as most people probably think it smells like sprouts haha. For me a Sunday roast signifies stodgy food that warms you up so there is nothing better that knowing you have a roast in the oven when its cold outside. In terms of candle scent it would definitely be gingerbread!

3. What is your favourite Autumn colour?
My favourite autumn colour to look at would be burnt orange, obvious I know, but what over colour would you chose!? Burnt orange is the colour of autumn because it reminds me of the leaves on the ground and pumpkins at halloween. My favourite colour to wear would be black or a dark red (wine).

4. What is your favourite Fall drink?

This is my favourite drink all year round, but even more so in the fall! It is a good, old, classic cup of tea! Nothing better than a long day at work or being out in the cold and coming back to cup of tea and a biscuit. It's the little things in life that make me happy.

5. What TV show, new or old, are you looking forward to this Fall?
Im not really sure on this question, I have started watching American Horror Story which has been good so far so I'm looking forward to watching that. I also love watching Hocus Pocus, one of the best fall films.

6. What is your favourite Fall fashion trend?

Polo necks. I hate, I repeat, I hate being cold! Urgh nothing worse, so I love wearing a long sleeve jumper/top that will keep me warm even without a coat. Anyone who knows me knows that I am always cold (I am that person). I also like wearing skirts with tights. Im thinking of getting a tartan skirt this year, or maybe a mustard one.

7. What is your favourite frugal Autumn activity?

Does putting on pjs and wrapping up on the couch in front of the TV count as an activity? Because that is my favourite thing to do. I'm looking forward to blogging, experimenting with fall fashion and autumnal makeup looks. Of course there is the classic pumpkin carving and watching fireworks on bonfire night as well.

8. What is your favourite makeup look come autumnal weather?
I like dark lips, the cherry reds and the dark purples. I also like that it is okay to be pale. I am not the most tanned person so I love embracing my paleness. Once the Morphe 35o palette comes back into stock I am hoping to order it and try some orangey make up looks.

Thanks for reading, it has definitely made me feel very excited for the Atumun!

For any one who is interested I have a Youtube Channel! I'm pretty new to it and I'm still practicing being confident in front of the camera. I usually film Haul Video's because I find that (like most girls) I like to go shopping and then talk about it. Ever since I got my first pay check I have always come home and shown my mum everything I had bought and give her a full explanation as to why I bought each item (poor mum). Oh and the occasional fashion show. I think that's why I enjoy filming Haul's and talking about products. I want to upload quite frequently and expand into other areas, such as makeup tutorials and lookbooks. I do however work full time, so for me blogging and Youtube is a part time thing but I will try my very best!

This is what I am passionate about and for me it is a hobby. I used to work another job at the weekend so I never had any free time to myself. A couple of weeks back it clicked in my head that I should be spending my free time and weekends doing what I love (blogging & photography). So after having this 'click' moment I handed in my notice to my weekend job and I feel so much better for it. Sometimes it isn't all about money, yes the weekend job did give me extra money and I did like that, BUT it is just a job and it is just money. My other job could cover my bill's so it was a no brainer really. Now I can start spending that time doing what I want, going on days out, taking blog pictures. The weekend is my oyster!

Anyway enough rambling, I filmed a Primark Haul if you would like to check it out. Thanks for reading and thanks for watching.

For a long time now I have been using Garnier Micellar Water as my go to make up remover. I love it so much, it's great for my sensitive skin and it doesn't dry my out. A couple of weeks back I noticed Garnier had released a new Micellar Water, the 'Oil Infused Micellar Water'. I was excited to try this because I am such a big fan of the original. I was attracted to the 'oil infused' aspect of the product because an oil removes eye makeup a lot quicker. However from having a few tries of this product I was not completely impressed.

Suitability for Sensitive Skin
The Oil infused water did not work as well with my skin compared to the original. It had a strong perfume scent to it that the original doesn't. Unfortunately this meant that it did not suit my sensitive skin. Although I prefer the original the oils did leave my skin feeling really soft so I would recommend if you are not sensitive to strong perfumed products.

Winner: Original Micellar

Application & Time
The Oil Infused water can be a little bit more work to use, this sounds lazy but because it is an oil based product you have to mix it up every time you use it. Then you have to quickly squirt some onto a cotton pad before it separates again. Although this is not a big deal it just makes it more of a faff to use compared to the original.

Winner: Original Micellar

Removing Makeup
I would say that they both remove makeup well, but I think the Oil Infused removes eye makeup a bit better. An oil tends to remove eye makeup a lot better, and I found that this was true for this product as my makeup seemed to melt away a lot easier.

Winner: Oil Infused Micellar

Overall the Oil Infused Micellar water is a lovely product in terms of removing makeup more effectively and leaving the skin feeling soft. However in terms of sensitivity and practicality I would say that the original is the winner for me.

I know that most of the festivals are finished for summer now but I thought I would share with you the makeup look I created on my sister for V Festival. I was so excited to do this because I have never actually been to a festival before and I love any excuse to play around with glitter.
After having a good look through Pinterest I came up with a blue liner and glitter kind of look. I used Mac fluid line in 'low lights' on the top lid and used Mac Fluid line in Siahi on the bottom lash line. I specifically went to Claire's on the hunt for some festival-esq makeup/accessorise. I forgot how amazing Claire's is! There was so much stuff and it was all really affordable, I got a pack of different shade glitter pens, which are really amazing quality. I also found some skin gems to apply on the face.

BASE
Foundation | Rimmel
Concealer | Maybelline anti age
Contour | Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit
Bronzer | Hourglass
Blush | Rimmel
Brows | Mac Shadow in Aromatic

EYES

Lower lash line | Mac Fluid Line ' Siahi"

One of the things I really enjoy doing every now and again is having a good old route around Boots looking at the makeup counters. On my most recent visit I came across the new Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid (Lipstick), they were on offer at the time so I added it to my basket to give it a try. My initial thoughts on this product were a bit mixed, the formula felt so strange on my lips. It was nothing like I had ever came across before, it has a mousse like texture, definitely not what I thought it would be like. There was also quite a strong perfume scent that I thought was a bit over powering.

However after a few applications I came to really enjoy this product. Although the formula seemed strange I actually liked it because it wasn't drying on the lips. Whenever a product says 'Matte' you assume it would be drying however, it feels a bit luxurious but I wouldn't say it is a Matte finish.  If you are looking for a matte matte (like actually matte haha) liquid lip this wouldn't be one to go for. But like I said I kind of like that it wasn't because it doesn't dry your lips out.

I also loveeee the colour. The one I picked up is in '50, Nude Thrill', and it is a pretty browny nude. The colour pigmentation is also very good and as it fades it leaves a slight stain to the lips. This paired with a lip liner looks amazing. I dunno what it is but every time I wear this with a liner people say my lips look bigger, and of course this is a definite bonus because my lips are only small. I I would say the lasting power of this product is about average but like most lip products it lasts a lot longer with a lip liner. The price is a bit of bonus compared to others on the market at only £6.99, I think I got it for £4.99 when it was on offer.

To conclude, I like the formula, although it is definitely not matte, I love the colour and how easy it is to apply, the only thing I don't like is the strong smell but this isn't really a big issue for me.

At the weekend I went to my sister in-law's baby shower. No I am not married, but If I was to get married then I would be the little baby's auntie (ahhh so exciting). Who gets married these days anyway??? (FYI Mike if you read this I am waiting for my ring haha) Married or not I still see myself as being Auntie when the little baba is born.
Anywho! I wore this beautiful black and orange floral dress. I had been saving it for a while for the perfect summer occasion. I am so glad I purchased it and the best thing of all is that this dress looked a lot more expensive then it actually was. I got it from the New look section on Asos and it was only around £15! When I saw the price tag I couldn't quite believe that a dress this pretty could be so affordable. I don't usually shop in New Look that often but after purchasing this dress I think I will definitely start making more frequent visits.

For those of you who have watched my recent Haul video on YouTube (Link here) you will have seen this top. I got it recently from MissGuided and I love the 70's vibe it has. The flared sleeves are so pretty and the print is so colourful, I think the combination of colours is very flattering. I paired it with some black skinny jeans, sandal's and my favourite summer hat. Oh and of course a choker necklace, I can't stop wearing them! I think because the print is so out there you definitely need to have something plain on the bottom. You could pair it with a nice denim skirt or some shorts if the weather is good. Also If you don't like getting your belly out you can wear high waisted jeans. The jeans I'm wearing are slightly high waisted but I know Topshop do the Joni jeans and they go a bit higher.

Yesterday I went to see my friend from University. She has just bought her first home and I am so proud of her, it was amazing. Buying a home and having a mortgage is such a big responsibility. It's also very hard for young people today to get a mortgage because of how expensive it is. However if you have the option to buy your first home and you have a secure job I definitely think it is worth it, especially in the long run. For those of you who don't know I also purchased my first home a couple of months ago. I am not moved in yet because it is undergoing renovation. I hope to be in next summer. I'm thinking of doing a house journey blog post soon so you can see.

Anyway back to yesterday..... So I went to see my friend and we had a little shop in IKEA. I love this place, I hadn't been in a very long time so I was super excited. The inspiration is amazing! The kitchens are to die for, I wanted everything. I can't wait to decorate my own house. Even if you don't have your own home it is still a good place to shop. After IKEA we went back to my friend's house and we had a lovely dinner followed by Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream and Harry Potter.

Below are the pictures of my outfit I wore yesterday.
